  • The amount of Duty Hours depends on your membership.  A full breakdown of each type of membership is available on the membership page.goes here

  • Yes.  You can be an Operational or Full Member and take an Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) and volunteer with the Rescue Squad driving the apparatus.  You can also be an Auxiliary Member and volunteer with fundraising and community service events.

  • No previous experience or training is required to apply for membership.  

  • SGRVS has assistance available on a case-by-case basis.  A request must be made to the Chief and then must be approved by the Board of Directors.

  • EMT Classes are available at different times of the year, and conducted by different agencies and providers.  Ask the Chief or President about when the next available class may be conducted.
